Terms of Service

By adding the Astrix bot to a Discord server, using any Astrix command, logging into astrixbot.com, or otherwise accessing our services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Astrix.

If you use Astrix on behalf of a Discord server, you represent that you have authority to bind that community — typically as a server owner or administrator with permission to manage the server.

These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the document that gives you stronger consumer protections applies to the extent required by law.

Astrix is a Discord bot and companion web dashboard operated by BuildWithDani. Together they provide community management tools: moderation, welcome messages, leveling, economy (AsterCoins), tickets, automod, AI assistants (Astra and Orbit Intelligence), and related features configurable from Discord slash commands or the astrixbot.com dashboard.

Free tier. Core bot features — moderation, welcome/goodbye, leveling, economy, tickets, automod, and rate-limited Astra AI — are available at no cost. No credit card is required to use the free tier.

Paid tiers. Pro ($4.99/month) and Elite ($9.99/month) unlock additional capabilities such as unlimited Orbit Intelligence, expanded Astra AI usage, full web dashboard access, and Elite-only features like custom AI personas and API access. Current pricing and feature lists are on our pricing page.

Feature availability may evolve as we improve Astrix, but we will not remove core free-tier functionality without reasonable notice where practicable. Astrix depends on Discord's platform and third-party providers (MongoDB Atlas, Stripe, Google Gemini, and hosting infrastructure). Outages or policy changes outside our control may affect availability.

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirements to use Discord — and therefore Astrix. In most regions that means you must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires a higher age.

By using Astrix, you confirm that you meet Discord's eligibility rules and that you are also bound by Discord's Terms of Service. Astrix is not intended for children under 13. If you do not meet these requirements, do not use the service.

You agree to use Astrix responsibly and in compliance with these Terms, Discord's Terms of Service, and Discord's Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:

• Use Astrix to spam, harass, or send unsolicited bulk messages through Discord
• Abuse the free tier — including automated farming of XP or AsterCoins, circumventing rate limits, or running workloads that belong on a paid plan while staying on free
• Resell, sublicense, white-label, or redistribute Astrix access to third parties, except where Elite-tier white-label features explicitly permit it
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our systems, APIs, or the shared MongoDB infrastructure
• Use Astrix — including AI features — to generate illegal content, evade moderation, harass others, or otherwise violate Discord's Community Guidelines or applicable law
• Misrepresent Astrix as an official Discord product or imply an endorsement that does not exist

Server administrators are responsible for how their members use Astrix in their communities. We may investigate abuse reports and take action against accounts or servers that violate these rules.

Subscriptions to Astrix Orbit Pro and Astrix Orbit Elite are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.

You may cancel at any time through the Dashboard's Billing page. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your server returns to the Free plan.

The Free plan remains available indefinitely, subject to compliance with these Terms and Discord's own Terms of Service.

New subscriptions to Pro include a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required at signup; your card will not be charged until the trial period ends. Each server is eligible for one free trial only — re-subscribing after a trial or cancellation does not grant a new trial period.

You may cancel at any time during the trial period through the dashboard billing portal with no charge.

Astrix-owned content. The Astrix name, logo, branding, bot code, dashboard code, custom icon set, Components V2 visual design, and related materials are owned by BuildWithDani and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission, except as these Terms explicitly allow.

Your content. Content you create through Astrix — such as custom commands, welcome message text, automod word lists, ticket templates, and server-specific configuration — remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service you configured.

Feedback. If you send suggestions or feature requests (including via the public roadmap), you grant us the right to use that feedback to improve Astrix without obligation to compensate you.

You may stop using Astrix at any time by removing the bot from your server and cancelling any active subscription.

We may suspend or terminate access — for a server, account, or specific feature — if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, fail to pay for a subscription, or if we must do so to comply with law or protect other users.

When access ends, your right to use Astrix stops immediately. Data handling after termination is described in our Privacy Policy and data deletion page. Removing the bot does not by itself erase stored data; submit a deletion request if you want records removed.

Astrix is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep the bot stable and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate service.

AI-generated responses from Astra and Orbit may be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. They are tools to help manage your community — not professional, legal, medical, or safety advice. You are responsible for decisions made based on AI output.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AI Server Setup (Elite): generates a proposed Discord server structure (channels, roles, configuration) based on your description. Astrix presents this as a preview for your review — nothing is created in your server until you explicitly approve it.

Webhooks (Elite): you may configure Astrix to send event data (such as bans, level-ups, or ticket creation) to an external URL you control. You are solely responsible for the security and handling of data received at any endpoint you configure. Astrix is not liable for how third-party services you connect via webhooks process or store this data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astrix, BuildWithDani, and our operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or community disruption — arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to Astrix will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

Disputes should first be raised with us informally via the contact details below. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be handled in the courts or forums required by applicable law in the jurisdiction confirmed above.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be posted on our Discord support server or the status page.

Continued use of Astrix after updated Terms take effect means you accept the new version, except where applicable law requires your explicit consent.
